What You'll Do
- Manage mitigation projects from initial response through completion following Thomasville Restoration standards and procedures.
- Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Set up each job site, establish an efficient workflow, and oversee daily production.
- Monitor drying progress and ensure mitigation processes meet company and IICRC standards.
- Complete final walkthroughs with customers to ensure satisfaction and quality.
- Supervise Lead Technicians, Technicians, and temporary labor on assigned projects.
- Assign daily responsibilities and ensure work is completed according to company standards.
- Coach and train team members on mitigation procedures, equipment operation, customer service, and safety practices.
- Promote professionalism, teamwork, and accountability on every job site.
- Communicate with customers throughout the restoration process.
- Set expectations, provide project updates, and address concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Document customer concerns, property damage, and service issues promptly.
- Ensure every customer receives the Thomasville Touch from start to finish.
- Review and complete all required job documentation, including work authorizations, First Day Checklists, job notes, and customer signatures.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Communicate job progress and issues with the Mitigation Manager and office staff.
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and job sites remain clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Complete routine inspections and maintenance of company equipment.
- Protect company assets and maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Follow and enforce Thomasville Restoration safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices on every job.
- Identify and report safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both customers and team members.
Who You Are
- Experienced in water mitigation, restoration, or construction with previous crew leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of mitigation procedures, drying standards, and restoration best practices.
- A hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring technicians while working alongside them.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator who builds trust with customers and teammates.
- Committed to delivering outstanding customer service and quality workmanship.
- Comfortable responding to emergency service calls, including after-hours and on-call assignments.
- Dedicated to continuous learning through IICRC certifications and ongoing professional development.
